TSWD is capitalizing on the growing demand for natural gas-based power generation in Europe and Asia/Middle East. Our market analysis has proven significant expansions in gas drilling in the region, specifically Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. These markets present a unique value opportunity in that they are all predicated on sovereign demands for gas and as such, the production for internal use makes it impervious to swings in international commodity pricing.
The growth in global demand for energy far exceeds the growth in renewables creating a significant void in gas supply.

Our Team

Mr. David Godin

Chief Executive officer

Mr. Godin brings 25 years of executive experience, primarily in the Middle East, either operating drilling rigs or supplying and commissioning drilling rigs. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Godin has overseen the mobilization of over 150 big rigs (3,000 meters and above), primarily into Middle Eastern markets. At both Weatherford Drilling International and Nabors Drilling International, he managed yearly capital budgets between 100 and 500 mil USD. Reporting to the BOD as COO of IDM Equipment, Mr. Godin led the spinoff of the international group, where he served as CEO for over 10 years. Mr. Godin has developed a strategy of consolidation and re-capitalization focused on asset management involving sourcing, standardization, and depreciation of drilling assets. The specification is based on the commonality of specification between Saudi Aramco and Kuwaiti Oil Company.

Mr. Darren Sentner

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Sentner brings 20 years of executive experience in oil and gas. Mr. Sentner began his career in banking with Scotia Bank Canada, then as VP at Ernst & Young Calgary, before pursuing business opportunities in the oil and gas sector. As an entrepreneur, he has founded a successful Western Canadian based junior exploration company (Point Bar Resources Inc.) and a successful service rig company (WSK Well Services Inc.). As a CFO, Mr. Sentner brings international experience through his work with Dynetek Industries (operations in Canada and Germany) and Discovery Drilling Equipment (operations in the Ukraine). Through his consulting company, Sentner Capital Advisory, he has consulted on acquisitions, divestitures and financial restructuring to both private and public companies.

Mr. Abdul Hadi Al Qahtani

Mr. Abdul Hadi Al Qahtani worked over 20 years with Saudi Aramco in both onshore (in the Northern and Southern regions), offshore (in the Persian Gulf), and in the Joint Operations (Neutral zone between Kuwait and KSA). Mr. Al Qahtani’s knowledge of Aramco’s operational requirements and strong connections within the company enable him to provide stewardship during the bid processes. He currently resides in Khobar, Saudi Arabia where he owns and operates Gulf Energy Integrated Services.

Mr. James Reese

Advisory Board Member

Mr. James Reese lived in Khobar Saudi Arabia for over 27 years, working for Saudi Aramco, managing their in-country rig fleet and equipment. Mr. Reese started his career in Kuwait, mobilizing western-built rigs into the Kingdom. He currently resides in Houston, Texas where he consults on rig configuration and packaging for the ME and LATAM markets. He maintains an unparalleled knowledge of equipment requirements within the KSA oil & gas fields.

Abdul Hadi Ai Quatani spent 25 years building strong relationships as Drilling Operations Superintendent at Saudi Aramco and has continued to do so in the years since he established Gulf Energy SA. Mr Al Quatani assist TSWD with post acquisition transition within Saudi Aramco by liaising with the client and helping to manage the client expectations. Gulf Energy Integrated Services is a wholly owned Saudi Company located in Khobar, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
